AUDITION NOTICE

When: April 5th at 2 pm & April 7th at 7:30 pm, 2008
Performances at the Union County Performing Arts Center will be June 12
through June 22, 2008
Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 2 pm
All
actors will be paid
Character Breakdown:
JIM -
20’s-early 30’s. A niceordinary good natured man
with vitality and drive
TOM -
20’s-early 30’s. A poet atheart, struggling to live
his own life
LAURA
- 20’s-early 30’s. Fragile andpressed into a life
of illusion by her nature, her handicap and her mother
AMANDA -
40’s-50’s. Has endurance anda kind of
heroism but clings to another time and place while her foolishnessmakes
her unwittingly cruel at times. She is as much to be admired as to
bepitied.
Open auditions,
non-union. Auditioners are asked to arrive and register
within the first hour of the auditions, all roles are open. Actors will
be provided sides to read from upon sign-in. Please bring picture
& resume, if available.
